BEHLEN FRAMELESS steel buildings are constructed with engineered panel system, eliminating the need for structural steel. This unique system allows to offer low cost, energy efficient solutions.
Buildings can offer obstruction-free spans of up to 95 m (313’) completely independent of structural elements such as columns and rafters. This provides our customers with unparalleled flexibility.
The lack of structural steel helps give our buildings an insulation advantage. Inexpensive batt insulation is installed easily to the interior with insulation supports, which minimize energy loss caused by thermal bridging. The wall system also accepts a variety of types of insulation from spray-on to strapping and batts.
PRE-FAB BUILDING SYSTEM
We manufacture and supply worldwide prefabricated - Foldable, Expandable and Flat Pack houses from our RAPID BUILD facility in New Zealand and the ARTSPAN facility in Canada.
The main advantage of our prefabricated RAPID BUILD container houses is their rapid installation speed, high mobility, and flexibility in adapting to various functional tasks such as housing, dormitory, medical facility, construction site offices, showroom, etc.

Unique, structural, insulated steel panels of ARTSPAN keep warm in winter and cool in summer. They are resistant to fire, mold and rodents.
The foam core and interior and exterior pre-painted steel sheets combine to create a well-insulated, self-supporting, maintenance-free building envelope solution. DEEP CORRUGATED STRUCTURAL PLATE

Bridge-Plate Deep Corrugated Structural Plate (DCSP) is one of the strongest structural plate products on the market today with the deepest corrugation profile possible. It allows an economical construction of long span soil-steel structures in arch, ellipse, round and box-culvert shapes. Configurations are pre-engineered to make the selection process quick and easy. Standard spans range from 4m to 18m, with longer custom designs available.
Multi Plate is a versatile and economical bridge and culvert product that can be custom designed for almost any application. It is most commonly used as the steel element of a buried soil-steel structure, but it can also be part of free-standing structures such as rock fall protection, conveyer tunnels, caissons and more. Standard spans range up to 8,5m, with longer custom designs available.
Tunnel Liner Plate is one of the most versatile segmental corrugated steel plate systems on the market today. Designed specifically for lining soft ground tunnels and relining existing conduits under highways and railroads, its applications extend to caissons, vertical shafts, mine entries and much more.

Bridge In A Box is an engineered, pre-fabricated modular steel bridge that is delivered to site in single or double lane configurations and spans from 6m to 24.5m. The customizable Bridge In A Box design is complemented by standard steel posts with W-Beam or Thrie Beam guardrail for low volume roads. The open span ensures exceptional hydraulics with little impact on the stream environment. Bridge In A Box is an ideal solution for rural, forestry, and remote locations, and complies with the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC) for pedestrian and highway live loads.

STEEL-CONCRETE SHELTER
Steel-Concrete Shelter (SCS) from Corrugated Structural Plate (CSP) has been utilized for decades in various protective structures deployed by NATO countries to safeguard critical military and civilian infrastructure.
SCS consist of an arch-shaped overlap of one or two CSP by ARMTEC, with up to a 1.5 m reinforced concrete layer filling. Optionally, the CSP can be covered with "protective ribs" - 0.5m thick steel boxes filled with compacted sand. Assembled structure can be installed on reinforced concrete walls/foundations or durectly on the ground.
When comparing protective structures made of CSP with concrete ones, concrete structures are prone to cracking or collapseing depending on the impact energy of the explosion, while CSP structures only deform. This means that concrete structures are more likely to cause damage due to internal fragments, whereas CSP structures have minimal or no secondary danger from fragmentation.
